Live means the interactive page is published. It does not mean independent professional verification. The editorial code audit is dated 1 November 2026; professional financial, tax and payroll review remains pending. Existing payroll rate metadata retains its original 19 October check date; the sources below were rechecked for this audit on 1 November.
| Live tool | Formula, checks and limits |
|---|---|
| Financial health checker | Average monthly cash flow; accessible buffer coverage; debt repayment share of take-home pay; optional net worth. No composite rating or suitability assessment. Zero denominators and missing optional balances remain unassessed. |
| Compound growth | Monthly recurrence, contributions at month end; nominal annual return and inflation divided by 12. Fees multiply the balance monthly. Closed-form and zero-rate examples tested. |
| Australian pay and termination | 2026–27 resident brackets; Schedule 1/8 PAYG and student-loan withholding; Schedule 5 bonus/backpay and Schedule 7/11 termination examples. Annual tax is separate from PAYG. LITO and personal Medicare reductions remain excluded. |
| Wealth Foundations | Income minus spending; assets minus liabilities; asset-income coverage and income shares. Zero denominators display no ratio. These are educational definitions, not tax classifications. |
| Investment property | Weekly rent × occupied weeks, less annual costs, simple annual loan interest and entered principal payments. Yields exclude transaction costs; no depreciation, CGT, tax benefits or amortisation. |
| Asset income growth | Monthly reinvestment with fee drag, end-month deposits, annual effective inflation adjustment. Yield illustrates income from the final balance; it is not added again to total return. No tax or withdrawal model. |
| Financial dashboard | Monthly income less outgoings; assets less debt; asset income divided by outgoings. Zero outgoings gives no coverage ratio. Optional local save/export, no account or cloud sync. |
| Household budget | Annual bills divided by 12; monthly income less costs and savings. Reconciliation and deficit cases tested. |
| Debt reduction | Monthly interest then minimums and priority payments; fixed initial active-debt budget. Zero-balance rows now contribute no phantom minimum. Zero interest, final payments, rollover and inactive rows tested. |
| Emergency fund | Essential spending × months; subtract available savings and round saving time up. Zero saving and already-complete targets tested. |
| Super projection | Year-end net contributions, opening-balance return/fees, annual inflation. $32,500 general concessional cap and 12% SG checked for 2026–27; actual employer contributions entered directly. No personal tax-saving, pension or access assessment. |
| Mortgage and offset | Annuity payment with stable near-zero-rate calculation; monthly interest on loan less constant offset. Base and extra-payment scenario tested at zero, tiny and positive rates and at full offset. Actual lenders generally calculate interest daily. |

What the checks establish
Automated examples check arithmetic, boundaries, browser/source parity and internal routes. Published ATO worked examples cover supported payroll cases; they do not prove every possible payroll classification. Budget, debt, emergency, super and mortgage have separate maths and Excel walkthroughs. Property, asset growth, dashboard and foundations arithmetic are checked against independent small examples. Monthly offset calculations approximate lenders’ daily calculations.
Corrections in this sprint
Unused debt rows previously added their entered minimums to the total budget even when their opening balance was zero. They are now excluded from the initial budget; payments from initially active debts still roll forward. Mortgage annuity arithmetic now remains stable at very small positive rates. Added regression cases protect both corrections.

Capital gains tax, state payroll tax and a dedicated investment-fee comparison remain planned or awaiting source verification. The existing growth tools include fee inputs but do not constitute the separate fee-comparison product.
